The visionary behind the world famous Minden Whitewater Preserve was recognized posthumously by the International Whitewater Hall of Fame (IWHOF) on Saturday.

Roger Parsons was one of five people, including two Olympic medallists, to enter the IWHOF as part of its 2026 induction ceremonies held at the Canadian Canoe Museum in Peterborough.
